COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College women's tennis team defeated the Benedict Tigers 6-1 on Saturday (Mar. 2).

Zoe Heed picked up a pair of victories in #2 doubles, and #3 singles. Heed combined with Kelli Stinchcomb for a 6-1 doubles victory, and then won 6-2, 6-2 in singles play.

Charlotte Clarke improved to her season record to 5-1 in singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 victory, and Lea Weber was victorious in #4 singles, winning 6-1, 6-1.

The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 5) when they travel to Myrtle Beach for the Spring TennisFest, and face Mercyhurst at 8:30 a.m.
