Women’s Tennis Falls to Patriots in Non-Conference Play

The Coker College women’s tennis team (4-2) fell to the Francis Marion University Patriots

FLORENCE, S.C. - The Coker College women's tennis team (4-2) fell to the Francis Marion University Patriots 8-1 Sunday (Feb. 25) afternoon in non-conference play.

Jennifer Mezei picked up the lone win for the Cobras, earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles to improve to a team-best 5-1 on the year.

The Cobras will be back in action when they host No. 21 Tusculum to open up South Atlantic Conference play on Mar. 10. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
