Cobras Play Host to Non-Conference Foe Southern Wesleyan
The Coker College women’s tennis team will host Southern Wesleyan on Friday
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's tennis team will host Southern Wesleyan on Friday (Feb. 16) afternoon in non-conference play. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m.
The Cobras head into tomorrow's match with a 2-1 overall record, collecting victories over Benedict (8-1) and Erskine (6-3). In singles action, three Cobras boast a 2-1 record, which includes Suzanna Mickey (No. 2), Jennifer Mezei (No. 4), and Jenna Gainey (No. 6). The duo of Mezei and Mickey have swept the competition in doubles play with a perfect 2-0 record at the No. 2 position. In addition, Charlotte Clarke and Gainey are 2-1 in No. 3 doubles.
Southern Wesleyan heads into tomorrow's matchup with a 2-1 overall record with victories over Brevard (7-2) and Benedict (6-3).
