Coker Falls to Carson-Newman in Conference Action Saturday

Coker dropped its South Atlantic Conference match to Carson-Newman on Saturday.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis dropped its South Atlantic Conference match to visiting Carson-Newman 7-2 on Saturday (Mar. 11).

The Cobras won one of three doubles matches, with Julia Sorrells and Jenna Gainey earning the 9-8 win at No. 3. Suzanna Mickey earned a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 win at No. 5 singles for the Navy and Gold.

The Cobras will take the court again on Tuesday (Mar. 14) when they travel to South Atlantic Conference foe Catawba for a 2:00 p.m. matinee tilt.
