Cobras Take Down Pfeiffer in Sunday Action
The Cobras earned a key non-conference win on Sunday at home.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis concluded their weekend with a 5-4 win over Pfeiffer on Sunday (Feb. 26).
The Cobras led 2-1 after doubles play, thanks to an 8-6 win at No. 2 by Suzanna Mickey and Sarah Elliot and an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 by Julia Sorrells and Jenna Gainey.
The Cobras trailed 4-2 halfway through singles play, before Gainey (No. 4, 6-1, 6-1), Mickey (No. 5, 6-3, 6-0) and Elliott (No. 6, 6-0, 6-0) each came up with wins to clinch the victory.
The Cobras are back at home on Saturday (March 11) when they host Carson-Newman at the Coker tennis courts at 2:00 p.m.
