Cobras Down Benedict in Non-Conference Dual Match
The Cobras picked up a non-conference win to move to 2-2 on the year.

SUMTER, S.C.- Coker women's tennis picked up a 5-4 win against Benedict on Saturday (Feb. 11).
Coker won one of three doubles matches, with Jennifer Mezei and Jennifer Ruetten winning 8-5 at No. 1.
Both Mezei (No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1) and Ruetten (No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-4) picked up straight set wins in singles play. Jenna Gainey picked up a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 4 singles, while Sarah Elliott won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
The Cobras are back in action on Saturday Feb. 25 when they host Newberry in South Atlantic Conference action. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
