Cobras Fall in Tough Road Match at Erskine
Coker got two wins in doubles play and two in singles play in the loss.

DUE WEST, S.C.- The Coker women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 match to Erskine on Saturday (Feb. 4).
Coker was able to win two out of three doubles matches, beginning with an 8-4 win at No. 1 by Jennifer Mezei and Jennifer Ruetten. Julia Sorrells and Jenna Gainey won at No. 3 doubles by an identical 8-4 score.
Mezei also won her singles match at No. 1, doing so in three sets (6-7, 6-1, 6-4). Ruetten picked up a three-set (3-6, 6-2, 6-1) win at No. 2 singles, turning in a perfect day along with her doubles partner Mezei.
The Cobras turn right around and host Brevard on Sunday (Feb. 5) to open conference play. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker tennis courts.
