Cobras Host No. 17 Francis Marion in Season Opener
Coker's women are looking for a big win to open the 2017 season.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's tennis team opens its 2017 season taking on Francis Marion University on Wednesday (Feb. 1).
The teams played last year on Feb. 25, with Francis Marion coming away with the 8-1 victory. Jennifer Mezei picked up a 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles in the contest.
Francis Marion finished last season 20-7 and played in the NCAA Southeast Regional championship. The Patriots enter the season ranked 17th in the nation.
First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Coker tennis courts.
