
Coker Women Collect Sweep of Brevard
Coker women's tennis pulled off its first shutout win of the season.

BREVARD, N.C.- Coker women's tennis notched a clean sweep 9-0 win over Brevard in South Atlantic Conference competition on Sunday (April 10).
Jennifer Mezei and Bailey Palmer kicked things off with an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while Jessi Campos and Sarah Elliott along with Ragan Palmer and Suzanna Mickey each notched 8-0 sweeps in their respective doubles matches.
The Cobras went on to sweep singles play, including four shutout matches. Mezei notched a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1, followed up by Bailey Palmer's 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2. Campos (No. 3), Ragan Palmer (No. 4), Mickey (No. 5) and Elliot (No. 6) all swept their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.
Coker will hit the courts again on Saturday (April 16) when they host Mars Hill. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
