
Coker Notches Wire to Wire Win over Anderson
Three straight singles wins completed the comeback victory for Coker.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis picked up a close 5-4 win over South Atlantic Conference foe Anderson on Saturday (April 9).
Ragan Palmer and Suzanna Mickey got the Cobras on the board with an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles. Bailey Palmer swept No. 2 singles in straight sets (6-0, 1-0) along with twin sister Ragan sweeping her singles match (6-2, 6-4) at No. 4. Before Palmer won her singles match, the Cobras trailed the match 4-2. Mickey picked up a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles to tie the match. Sarah Elliott won 7-5, 6-7, 4-7, 6-2 at No. 6 singles to secure the conference win for the home team.
The Cobras will turn around tomorrow (Sunday, April 10) and hit the road to Brevard for another South Atlantic Conference match. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
