
Cobras Win Pivotal SAC Match versus Catawba
Jessi Campos won both her doubles and singles matches on the afternoon.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis picked up a pivotal South Atlantic Conference win defeating Catawba 5-4 on Wednesday (Mar. 30).
The tandem of Sarah Elliott and Jessi Campos earned an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles, and the Cobras would win four out of six singles contests to secure the victory. Jennifer Mezei picked up a straight-set 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles, while Bailey Palmer earned a 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (7-2) win at No. 2 singles. Campos would win her singles match in straight sets at No. 3 6-1 6-4, while Suzanna Mickey would sweep the No. 6 singles match 6-3, 6-0.
The Cobras will hit the courts again on Sunday (Apr. 3) when they travel to Queens for a match at 1 p.m.
