Coker Takes on Young Harris in Tuesday Matinee

The navy and gold is coming off a 5-4 SAC win over Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday (Mar. 5).

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's tennis team will host Young Harris on Tuesday (Mar. 8) in non-conference action.

The Cobras took down Lenoir-Rhyne 5-4 in South Atlantic Conference play on Saturday (Mar. 5). Ragan Palmer and Suzanna Mickey teamed up for an 8-6 victory at No. 3 doubles to get Coker on the board. Bailey Palmer (6-1, 6-3), Jennifer Mezei (6-2, 7-5), Mickey (6-1, 6-3) and Sarah Elliot (6-3, 4-6, 7-6) all collected singles wins. Elliot's 7-6 win in the final set clinched the match for the women.

Bailey Palmer paces the Cobras with a 5-3 record in singles play, while Suzanna Mickey has a 4-4 mark playing singles.

The action is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Coker tennis courts.
