Coker Drops SAC Opener to Anderson
The Coker women's tennis team fell, 6-3, to the Trojans of Anderson University in SAC action on Sunday (Feb. 8).
ANDERSON, S.C – The Coker women's tennis team dropped a South Atlantic Conference match, 6-3, to the Trojans of Anderson University on Sunday (Feb. 8).
The Navy and Yellow would hold a 2-1 lead after the doubles portion of play, as Bailey and Ragan Palmer picked up an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles and Jessi Campos and Suzanna Mickey notched an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles. At No. 2 singles, Bailey Palmer would register a 6-3, 6-3 straight-set victory for Coker one win of singles competition.
The Cobras will play host to USC Aiken in its next macth on Wednesday (Feb. 11). The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at the Coker Tennis Courts.
