Campos Picks Up Win in Non-Conference Loss to GRU Augusta

Jessi Campos picked up the lone win for the Coker women's tennis team in its 8-1 loss to GRU Augusta on Tuesday (Mar. 11).

AUGUSTA, GA. – The Coker women's tennis team fell 8-1 in a non-conference match with the Jaguars of GRU Augusta on Tuesday (Mar. 11).

Picking up the lone win for the Navy and Yellow was sophomore Jessi Campos. Campos pulled out a 7-5, 6-3 straight-set victory at No. 1 singles to earn her second win of the season.

Coker will continue its five-match road trip on Friday (Mar. 14) when they take on the Eagles of Carson-Newman College in a South Atlantic Conference showdown. First serve is slated for a 3 p.m. start.
