Falcons Top Cobras 8-1

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Coker women's tennis team dropped their Conference Carolinas match to Pfeiffer, 8-1, on Sunday (Mar. 10) afternoon. The loss evens Coker's record at 5-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Daniela Chipe earned the Cobras lone victory of the day, defeating Pfeiffer's Taylor Lindsay at No. 1 singles with a pair of 6-3 victories.  The win moves Chipe to 7-3 overall at the No. 1 spot, and 4-0 against Conference Carolinas opponents.  

The Cobras will return to action on Tuesday (Mar. 12) when they travel to Newberry College for a 1 p.m. match.
