Coker Falls to Anderson in Season Opener

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Coker women's tennis team opened its 2013 season with a tough 9-0 loss to Anderson University.

In doubles play, the No. 1 doubles pair of Daniela Chipe and Anna Musiyenko came up short, losing 8-3.  Chipe then fought hard at No. 1 singles, falling in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

The Cobras will return to the court on Friday (Feb. 8) when they travel to Greenwood, S.C. to take on the Bearcats of Lander University in a non-conference match.
