Gaffney, SC- It was a tough day for the Cobras as they traveled to play Limestone College today. Limestone came out firing clinching both doubles quickly with a 8-0 win at number one and an 8-2 win at number 2. The third doubles was not played as Limestone had insufficient players.

 

Limestone again came out strong in singles as they took all five of the singles matches. Jill Smith played well in her singles but was edged out in the first set 6-4. Cribb from Limestone continued her good play to take the second 6-1. The lady Cobras battled hard in the remaining matches but just came up short. This gave Limestone a 7-2 victory.

 

The Cobras are now 6-3 in conference play and 9-8 for the season. The next match for the Cobras is this Monday against Lees-McRae College at 1pm.
