
Cobras Use Big Second Half To Take Down Pacers
Maia Clark buried two goals to help lead the way in a three goal second half, which paced Coker over USC Aiken Wednesday night.
Hartsville, SC - Coker used a big second half to take down USC Aiken at Coker-Athletics Field Wednesday night. The Cobras (4-1-1) put home three goals in the second half to topple the Pacers (0-5-2) at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The first half was slim on chances, as the two sides registered three total shots.
Of those chances, Coker had the best in the 41st minute when Hannah Denton ripped a shot from the left side. USC Aiken's Mia Duncan made a diving defensive save to keep the match at a stalemate.
The Cobras defense was stout, only giving the Pacers one shot on goal in which Helena Sedelmaier saved.
At the break Coker tallied two corners, with three shots being on goal, while USC Aiken put together five corners, with one shot on goal.
In the 32nd minute, the Cobras broke through. Mila Rausch placed a corner kick into the box, drawing a hand ball foul by the Pacers.
Freshman Maia Clark took advantage of the foul, depositing her fourth goal on the season into the back of the net.
Five minutes later, Clark doubled her tally on the night, taking a through ball from Kira Boelke down the right side, and deposited it in the left corner.
USC Aiken brought the game within one, putting the pressure on the Cobras with five minutes left courtesy of Brooke Morrison.
With a minute left in the match Mila Rausch broke loose, depositing her first goal of the year in the back of the net, ultimately putting the game out of reach.
