Wilson, NC - The Cobras have yet to allow a goal this season as they draw even with the Bulldogs of Barton College on the road.
The Cobras couldn't quite capitalize on their chances to score in this one, but the play by the Cobra defense evened it out as the game ended in a 0-0 tie. This game was the definition of even, with each team getting off eleven shots each. The difference was the defense, with the Cobras only allowing three shots on target, all three of which were saved by starting keeper Rhyan Parkin.
Chances were created by Coker, with six of their eleven shots being on target and having earned eleven corners compared to just three by Barton. However, both defenses and keepers held strong regardless of the amount of pressure they were facing to take this one to a tie.
The Cobras are back in action this Saturday, as South Atlantic Conference rival Limestone comes to town for an evening matchup. That game will start at 7:00 PM ET and be under the lights of the Coker Athletic Turf.
