Cobras Come Up Short Against Royals on Senior Day

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University women's soccer team fell in South Atlantic Conference action on Senior Day Saturday (Oct. 30) to Queens University of Charlotte by a score of 2-0.

The Cobras played stout defense throughout the game, but the Royals proved to be a bit too much in the end. Goalkeeper Katie Moore led the way in goal for the Cobras as she recorded five saves, including a few of the high-difficulty variety.

Catrionna Manning, Navia Mosley, and Kennedi Price each registered one shot apiece to pace the Cobras on the offensive end. Freshman Dylan Winstead led the defensive effort as she was in the right place at the right time on several occasions to snuff out the Royals' scoring chances.

The Cobras will wrap up their regular season with a South Atlantic Conference matchup against Anderson (S.C.) on Wednesday (Nov. 3), with kickoff scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
