Cobras Fall on the Road to Wingate

WINGATE, N.C. - The Coker University women's soccer team fell in South Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday (Oct. 13) to Wingate University by a score of 7-0.

Junior Sarah Swaim recorded 12 saves in the net, bringing her career total to 261. Junior Katie Moore would come on in the second half in relief of Swaim and pick up four saves of her own. Coker was led offensively by seniors Gabby Sturla and Lillia Rodriguez, who along with freshman Lexi Lilly recorded one shot each. 

The Cobras will be back in action Saturday (Oct. 16) when they travel to Gaffney, S.C. to take on South Atlantic Conference opponent Limestone University. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m., with coverage that can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
