HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker Women's Soccer team battled to a 0-0 2OT draw on Thursday (Sept. 2) in their season opener against Southern Wesleyan University. 

The Cobras registered nine shots, including four on goal. Senior Alexandra Brown and sophomore Dylan Smith each registered two shots, including one on goal apiece. Junior Chloe Grein also got in on the action with a shot on goal of her own.

Junior Sarah Swaim was solid in net, as she saved both of the shots on goal that were sent her direction by the Warriors. Both teams fought through 110 minutes in the Hartsville sunshine, but in the end had to settle for a tie.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Sep. 8) when they host Barton College, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. from the Coker Athletic Field. Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
