Cobras Fall to No. 4 Carson-Newman

The Coker College women's soccer team fell to No. 4 Carson-Newman 5-0 on Saturday (Oct. 28) afternoon.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The fourth-ranked Carson-Newman Eagles traveled to Hartsville and defeated the Coker College women's soccer team 5-0 on Saturday (Oct. 28) in a South Atlantic Conference match.

Both Lexi Garcia and Phoebie Eshen fired a shot for the Cobras on the day. Shelby Middleton recorded three saves in the contest.

It was Senior Day for the Cobras, who honored Ashton Knopf, Shelby Middleton, Trisha Thompson, Autumn Fetterolf, Lexi Garcia, Phoebie Eshen, Batavia Mata, and Tiffany Dayton-Hegedus for their time at Coker.

The loss match was the final contest of the season.
