MARS HILL, N.C.- The Coker College women's soccer team traveled to take on Mars Hill University in a midweek South Atlantic Conference match and fell 2-0 at the Ammons Family Athletic Center at Meares Stadium Wednesday (Sept. 27) night.
The Cobras fired off 10 shots on the Lions during the match. Ashley Hogg and Gaby Sturla each had two shots, while six others in the Navy and Gold collected a strike as well.
Samantha Hoffman stood between the pipes for Coker recording four saves.
The Cobras will be back in action at home next Wednesday (Oct. 4) for a midweek SAC contest against the Wingate Bulldogs. The match is slated for a 4:30 p.m. start on the Coker Athletic Field.
