Pacyna's Goal Leads Cobras to Non-Conference Victory Over Hawks
Junior Jenna Pacyna's first half goal propelled the Coker women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the Hawks of Chowan University in non-coference action on Tuesday (Oct. 14).

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Junior Jenna Pacyna tallied her second goal in as many matches to lead the Coker women's soccer team to a 1-0 non-conference win over the Chowan University Hawks on Tuesday (Oct. 14). The win moves the Cobras' winning streak to two matches.
Pacyna did her damage late in the first half of play, scoring unassisted in the 33rd minute. The Cobra defense would do the rest of the work, limiting the Hawks to only nine shots, with only three on goal. Senior Lizz Morris tallied three saves in 90 minutes of play.
The Navy and Yellow will hit the road for a South Atlantic Conference matchup with the Carson-Newman Eagles on Saturday (Oct. 18). The match is slated for a 4:30 p.m.
