BANNER ELK, N.C. – Sarah Kinsey (Windermere, Fla.) scored the Cobra women’s soccer team’s lone goal in Coker’s 8-1 loss to Lees-McRae on Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women’s soccer action. The loss marks the Cobras final game of the season and gives Coker a record of 1-14-2 overall and 1-8-1 in conference play.

Kinsey netted the goal, her sixth of the season, in the 22nd minute on a shot from the top of the 18 yard box.

The Bobcats out shot the Cobras 25-3, with Coker goalkeeper Carrie Hudnell (Goose Creek, S.C.) making 14 saves in the match.

The Cobras will now take a break until they begin their off-season workouts after the holiday break, while Lees-McRae will prepare to take on Mount Olive College in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament this week.
