MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Pfeiffer University Lady Falcons rolled past Coker College 8-0 in Conference Carolinas women’s soccer action on Tuesday afternoon. Leading the Falcons was forward Sheena Regan (Chesapeake, VA) with a pair of unassisted goals.

Scoring started just 14 minutes in as Megan Reaves (Mims, FL) put home her third of the season on a 25-yard shot after a short pass from Mariah Martinez (League City, TX). Martinez then turned around tallying her third of the year just four minutes later on assists from Jessica Moulton (Huntingtown, MD) and Alyssa Wombwell (Grand Blanc, MI).

The assist-to-goal trend continued as Moulton notched her third of the season, after assisting on Martinez’s goal, as the freshman midfielder returned the favor helping out on Moulton’s strike. The first half concluded with Erin Menzel (Wilson, NC) assisting on Tish Patino’s (East Bend, NC) first collegiate goal before Regan hit unassisted in the 38th minute.

Regan gobbled up a loose ball in the 64th minute of play to put home her second of the day, fifth overall in front of Kaylie Lawing’s (Weston, FL) rocket from about 35 yards out that deflected off of Coker keeper Carrie Hudnell’s (Goose Creek, SC) hands and into the cage. Scoring concluded with Moulton chipping a pass over to Devon Klyce (Cape Coral, FL) who put home her third of the year in the final minutes of play.

For the Cobras, Sarah Kinsey (Windermere, FL), Rachel Solomon (Bluffton, SC) and Kerrie Cribb (Manning, SC) each had a shot on goal, all turned away by Pfeiffer’s Amanda Wemple (Hayden Lake, ID) who earned the shutout in net.

Coker will get back to action on Saturday in their final home match of the season against Erskine at 2:00 p.m.
