ANDERSON, S.C. – The Coker College women’s soccer team had a tough day on the soccer field, losing to the Anderson University Trojans 9-1 in a non-conference match at Anderson on Sunday.

Freshman Emily Morrow (Columbia, S.C.) netted the Lady Cobras lone goal in the 27th minute off a deflection of the Anderson goalkeeper.

Kerrie Cribb (Sumter, S.C.) had six saves in the goal for Coker.

Coker returns to action Saturday, Sept. 11 at 2:00 p.m. when they travel Belmont, N.C. to take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
