Hartsville, S.C. – The Pfeiffer University Falcons held the Coker Lady Cobras scoreless on Tuesday night in Conference Carolinas women’s soccer action, winning 6-0. The loss drops the Lady Cobras to 0-13 on the year and 0-7 in conference play, while Pfeiffer improves to 8-3-3 overall and 5-1-2 in the conference.

Sam Brown (Linthicum, Md.) was the offensive force behind the Falcons attack netting three goals, while Kirsten Bartsch (Leesburg, Va.), Vanessa Gallegos (Cheyenne, Wyo.) and Megan Reeves (Mims, Fla.) each had a goal in the match. Ashley Hawkins (Madison, N.C.) had a pair of assists and Nikki Powell (Monroe, N.C.) also added an assist.

The Coker goalkeepers Carrie Hudnell (Goose Creek, S.C.) and Margaret McCoy (Columbia, S.C.) had a combined seven saves in the match.

Coker returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 17, when the Lady Cobras travel to Wilson, N.C. to face the Barton Bulldogs in a 2:00 p.m. match.
