The Coker women were blasted by the Falcons of Pfeiffer 8-1 on Tuesday, in women's collegiate soccer. The loss marks the Lady Cobras third in a row, dropping their record to 3-7 overall, and 2-3 in the conference.

The Pfeiffer women were unable to shutout the Cobras letting the only goal for Coker through in the 81st minute, but were still able to take home a win with a seven goal lead.  The Lady Falcon effort was spread throughout the team with six different players credited with their eight goals.  Ashley Hawkins (Madison, NC) scored in the 25th minute to get Pfeiffer on the board.  Hawkins also had one assist in the match.  Megan Reaves (Mims, FL) gave Pfeiffer their game-winning goal two minutes later.  She also gave her team the final goal of the game in the 88th minute. Ashleigh Rhoads (Palm Bay, FL) notched two goals for the Lady Falcons in 34th and 44th minutes.  Kirsten Bartsch (Leesburg, VA), Alyssa Wombwell (Grand Blanc, MI), and Vanessa Gallegos (Cheyenne, WY) each tallied one goal for Pfeiffer.  Amanda McPhail (Irmo, SC) knocked in the lone goal for the Cobras.   

Pfeiffer goalkeepers Jamie Alcala (Fredericksburg, VA) and Emilia Zabaldo (Stroudsburg, PA) played solid games, but starting goalkeeper Suzie Hinman (Idaho Falls, ID) was credited with the win for the Lady Falcons.

The Pfeiffer men improve to 4-6 overall and 3-1 in Conference Carolinas.  The Lady Falcons remain undefeated in conference play (5-0) and are 8-3 overall.
