Hartsville, S.C. – A pair of late first half goals and a some solid defense in the second half, gave the Lady Saints of Limestone College a 2-0 Conference Carolinas women’s soccer victory over Coker College on Wednesday night. The win improves Limestone to 3-7 overall, and 2-3 in the conference, while Coker falls to 3-5 overall, and 2-2 in the conference.

In the 39th minute of the game Vanessa Jarrett found the back of the net for the first goal of the game, with an assist from Hope Lee. Two minutes later, Madi Dulisse gave the Lady Saints their second goal, an unassisted break away, and that would be all the scoring Limestone would need.

Coker keeper, Chelsea Beetch (Palmer, AK) was peppered with shots all game, as Limestone out shot Coker 16-3, with Beetch making six saves on the night.

The Lady Cobras return to the pitch on Saturday, as they face King College at 3:30 p.m. in their 2008 Homecoming match. Limestone will face Barton in a conference match at 2:00 p.m.
