Aiken, S.C. - The Coker College Women’s Soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday night. The Lady Cobras defeated the Lady Pacers of USC-Aiken, 3-1. The win improves Coker to 1-2, while Aiken falls to 0-3.

Leading the way for Coker was Amanda McPhail (Irmo, SC) as she found the back of the net for the Lady Cobras first goal. Kathryn Friedmann (Hendersonville, TN) netted the second goal, followed by classmate Laura Bedenbaugh’s (Hartsville, SC) goal to cap off the victory.

The Lady Cobras will now prepare for their next match as they will host Queens University of Charlotte in their Conference Carolinas opener on Saturday, September 13, at 2:00 p.m.
