Gaffney, SC—The Cobras went 1-1 on the weekend as they competed in a tri-meet hosted by the Limestone Saints. The Cobras faced Limestone University, which was 6th in the conference division, and the Mount Olive Trojans, which were 4th in the division. After today's tri-meet, Coker stayed in 5th place in the East Division, with Mount Olive moving into 1st place and Limestone in last place.

How It Happened:
Coker Vs Mount Olive
This match-up saw the 4th-place Trojans face off against the 5th-place Cobras. This match started with Corey Gallivan going to the mat first in the 125lb weight class. Gallivan fought till the very end but sadly he was just outdone by Christian Luker by decision 7-6. Next up the number 13th in the nation, Stephen Spitko, battled it out with Mount Olives Jeffery Richards. This match-up saw Spitko winning by Fall in 2:40 giving the Cobras a 6-3 lead. In the 157 lb weight class Noah Korenoski faced one of the best wrestlers in the Nation, Jack Nicolosi, who is currently ranked 5th in the nation. Korenoski took this match all the way till the end and he ended up losing by decision 8-4. Kaleb Walley and Kevin Mood also did well in their matchups. The pair both took their matches to the limit where the pair lost by decision to their Mount Olive counterparts.
Coker Vs Limestone:
The Cobras' second dual of the day saw them face to face with the Limestone Saints. This dual started off with Corey Gallivan coming out with a win. This match was close as Gallivan edged out his opponent by decision 7-5. Next up, we saw the Cobra's best performance of the day. Stephen Spitko won his match in record time this season as he defeated his opponent in only 36 seconds giving the Cobras a 9-0 lead. The Freshman Frank Bianco was next to the mat and the winner's circle as he won his match by technical fall with a final score of 25-10 in 5:39. Noah Korenoski followed up his impressive dual against Mount Olive with a win he very much deserved on the day. Korenoski won the 157lb weight class by Major Decision with a final score of 13-4. Another familiar name found himself on the right end of his match-up. Austin Collins defeated Samuel Daniels by decision with a final score of 8-2. The Final Cobra to win in today's tri-meet was Kaleb Walley. Walley won by major decision being his opponent 13-4 to give the Cobras a much-needed push over the finish line to win 25-21.
What's Next
The Cobras will finish out their regular season play next week in the Deloach Center. The Cobras will be hosting UNC Pembroke and Belmont Abbey at 5 pm on February 7th.
