COBRAS WIN ON THE ROAD AGAINST EMORY & HENRY
Emory-VA: The Cobras went on an away trip to battle the Emory and Henry Wasp on the mat Monday night. The Cobras won 43-6 against the Wasps.
The Cobras were off to a hot start to the match with Corey Gallivan winning his match with a fall against Orlando Hernandez to get the Cobras off to a 6-0 lead over the Wasps.
In the 141lb weight class, Freshman Frank Bianco won in sudden victory 8-7 against Isaiah Dotson for the first conference win of his career.
Next onto the mat for the Cobras was Jamarion Whetstone. Whetstone won by major decision with a score of 16-7 in the 149 lb weight class.
For the 165-lb weight class, the junior from Conway, SC, Austin Collins, won by fall against Zane Perkins, bringing the Cobras to a commanding lead of 31-0.
The Cobras will be on the mat next December 1st at the Carolina Clash at Lander.
