Previous to Coker: Asher Honea is a highly accomplished wrestler from Summerville, South Carolina. Throughout his high school career, he competed in the 106, 138, and 145 weight classes. With an impressive record of 65 wins and 23 losses, Honea has proven himself to be a formidable opponent on the wrestling mat. In addition to his success on the wrestling team, Honea has also excelled academically. He has been recognized as a SC Palmetto Fellows Scholar, showcasing his dedication to both his studies and his sport. Looking ahead to his college career, Honea will be joining the wrestling team at Coker University. He is projected to compete in the 149 weight class, where he will continue to showcase his skills and determination. As a two-time Region Champion, Honea brings a wealth of experience and a winning mindset to his college wrestling journey.
