Armengol Advances To Nationals at Super Regional

The Coker University Wrestling team saw three wrestlers place at NCAA Division II Super Regional II at Lander University.

157lbs

At 157 for Coker, Noah Korenoski would gain a 5th place finish for the Cobras earning the team 11 points on the day. One of Korenoski's wins came via a major decision.

285lbs

At 285lbs, Coker would see Hamilton Cooper secure a 4th place finish earning the team 12.5 points. Cooper would gain one fall victory and a major decision victory.

141lbs

At 141lbs, Coker would see Omar Armengol earn 3rd place on the day. Not only would Armengol gain third place, but he would secure his spot and a trip to Nationals.

Overall the Cobras were able to have a successful day at all weight classes, showing strong performances throughout the entire tournament.
