Emony, Va. – The Cobras took the early 18-6 lead in the match due to unfilled weight classes.    

Senior Bryan Jones (149) was the first Cobra to Strike on the night with a tech fall against Collin Davidson. Junior Noah Korenoski (157) scored a fall over Matt Allen of Emory and Henry. At the 165 weight class, Mathew Williams won his match (16-1) on a tech fall. At this point in the match the Cobras led 23-6.  Freshman Austin Collins wrestling at 174 won his match over Alex Baumberger on a major decision. Will Frazier picked up the decision over Tony Washington at 184.  Hamilton Cooper finished off the night with the win by forfeit.  The Cobras finished the night 41-10 over Emory and Henry.   The Cobras will be back in action on February 25 as the travel to the NCAA DIvision II Super Regionals hosted by UNC Pembroke.  Additional information regarding the regionals can be found here.
