HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University wrestling team picked up a South Atlantic Conference Carolinas victory on Senior Night Thursday (Feb. 10) by a 23-18 score over Emmanuel College (Ga.).

Senior Corey Christie got the night off on the right foot with a 12-3 victory by major decision over Emmanuel's Connor Smith at 165 pounds. Fellow senior Alex Miller followed up with a 7-1 decision at 174 pounds. Freshman Levi Kluttz was able to get the victory by fall at 197 pounds at the 6:04 mark. Hamilton Cooper and Stephen Spitko picked up decision victories by 2-0 and 4-1 score lines respectively. Omar Armengol sealed the victory with a 16-4 major decision at 141 pounds over Bryson Flint.

The Cobras will wrap up the regular season on Monday (Feb. 14) when they play host to the Tornado of King University (Tenn.). Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m., with live video coverage available at www.cokercobras.com.
