Van Alst Competes at the NCAA Division II National Championships
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Coker University wrestler Zachary Van Alst competed at the NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships on Friday (Mar. 12) at America’s Center Convention Complex.
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Coker University wrestler Zachary Van Alst competed at the NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships on Friday (Mar. 12) at America's Center Convention Complex.
The junior from Prattville, Ala. first went up against No. 8 Devin Schwartzkopf of No. 5 McKendree, where Schwartzkopf won by technical fall 16-0. Van Alst then faced No. 5 Peter kuster of No. 17, Drury, who got the win by fall in 4:35.
Van Alst is Coker's first-ever two-time national qualifier.
This concludes Coker's 2020-21 wrestling season.
