Poland, Innocent and Correa Recognized in Latest FloWrestling National Rankings

FULL FLOWRESTLING RANKINGS RELEASE

AUSTIN, Texas - Three Coker University wrestlers were recognized in the FloWrestling's latest Division II national rankings, released on Dec. 3. Chris Poland is ranked No. 17 at 133 pounds, while Jhavon Innocent is ranked No. 14 at 174 pounds and Ramon Correa is ranked No. 9 at 285 pounds. 

Poland has posted one win on the season, defeating Easton Halliday of Averett by decision 4-1 back on Nov. 3. 

Innocent has posted an 8-1 record on the season at 174 pounds, with a perfect 3-0 record in dual matches and also one win by technical fall. Innocent is also ranked No. 12 in the country at 174 pounds by FloWrestling's national poll. 

Correa is 3-0 on the season with three wins by fall. Correa has yet to wrestle a match into the third period this season. Correa is also the No. 1 ranked heavyweight wrestler in Super Region II, while ranking No. 9 in the National Wrestling Coaches' Association (NWCA) national poll and No. 8 by FloWrestling's national poll. 

The Cobras are back on the mat for the prestigious Midwest Classic, hosted by the University of Indianapolis from Dec. 14-15.
