Coker's Huff Named D2Wrestle.com Region 2 Wrestler of the Week

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College wrestler Charlie Huff has been selected as the D2Wrestle.com Region 2 Wrestler of the Week, the media outlet announced on Tuesday (Dec. 8).

The senior from Sewell, N.J. had an outstanding two-week span on the mat from Nov. 23 – Dec. 6, going 4-1 overall. He brought home second place honors in the 125-pound weight class at the King Open with a 3-1 record. He then picked up his first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) victory of the season with a 17-7 major decision over Belmont Abbey's William Rees.

Huff, an education major, is now 11-3 on the year with three falls and four major decisions. He is the son of Chuck and Shelley Huff.
