Coker Wrestling Upsets No. 8 Lake Erie

TIFFIN, OHIO – The Coker wrestling team picked up a pair of dual match victories, including an impressive win over No. 8 Lake Erie at the Super Regional Duals hosted by Tiffin University on Saturday (Jan. 31).

The Cobras started the day with a 24-14 win over Seton Hill. Following their victory they picked up an 18-13 upset win over No. 8 Lake Erie. Coker then closed out the day with a 23-13 loss to Shippensburg and a 27-15 loss to Findlay.

Day two of the Super Regional Duals has been canceled due to inclement winter weather.

The Cobras will return to the mat on Wednesday (Feb. 4) for their final home match of the season against Anderson University. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at Coker's DeLoach Center.
