2014-15: Nelson picked up five wins this season. He represented the Cobras at the NCAA Division II Midwest Super Regional Tournament. He was ranked as high as No. 2 in the 125 lbs weight class regional rankings.

2013-14: Nelson scored eight wins during his first season at Coker. 

High School: Nelson was a four-time region champion and three-time state champion at Socastee High School. He also played football.

Personal: Son of Rachel Burgess and Michael Nelson, step dad Troy Randolph and step mom Tabhata Fulmore...he has three siblings Lalia, Devon and Naseem.
