- Early into the 1st period, the Cobras and Pioneers traded goals.
- Mia MacMillan scored first for the Cobras with an unassisted goal. After being fouled outside the circle, MacMillan ran to the goal. After juking both her defenders, she sent the ball flying right past the keeper to bring this game level for the Cobras.
- Tusculum went on a 5-goal run after the Cobras' opener. However, Amanda Arguello got a goal back with a little over a minute left to play. Before Arguello's goal, Leah Corley had a shot of hers get saved by the Pioneer goalie. Arguello picked up the ground ball from the save and dispatched her shot into the back of the net to make the score 6-2 in favor of the Pioneers going into the end of the 1st period.
2ND PERIOD:
- The visiting Pioneers came out of the break ready to play, scoring four goals in the opening five minutes of the second period.
- Kate Halcro and Mia MacMillan combined in the 10th minute to claw a goal back for the Cobras. The buildup for the goal started right at the draw control. Leah Corley won her drawn control and sent her pass to the right wing to find Mia MacMillan. MacMillan sent her pass in front of the cage to find a cutting Kate Haclro would receive the pass and score the goal in the same motion to give the Cobras their 3rd goal of the game.
- Mia MacMillan put her name on the scoresheet once again with a little over a minute left to play in the 2nd period. MacMillan received a pass from behind the cage. She scanned her options to pass when the Pioneer defense left a gap for MacMillan to run straight through. Once MacMillan got in front of the keeper, she shot the ball into the far bottom corner, scoring her 2nd goal of the day and the Cobras' 4th goal of the contest.
- Going into halftime, Coker was down 4-13
3RD PERIOD:
- The Cobras came out of the halftime break strong. Leah Corley got the Cobras started right after she won the draw controls, getting the Cobras into offense quickly. After a few passes around looking for an opening to attack, Amanda Arguello found some space to run into. Arguello got past 3 defenders with ease before sending the ball into the top corner of the goal to score the Cobras' 5th goal of the game.
- The Cobras' defense slowed down the visitors' offense this period, as the Cobras only allowed 3 goals to be scored. The pressure of the Cobras' defense was huge this period, as many of the Pioneers' shots were being well wide or directly into Harper Davidson's stick.
- To finish out the 3rd period, Kate Halcro and Mia MacMillan combined once again this game with 1:33 left to play. Like so many other times this season. MacMillan had to ball behind the cage as Kate Halcro made a cutting run in front of the visitor's goalkeeper. MacMillan sent a pass into Halcro over the defender's head to find the towering Halcro in front of the net. Halcro, in one swift move, shot the ball into the top corner to get her second goal of the day and MacMillan's second assist of the day.
4TH PERIOD:
- The fourth period had some new goal scorers for the Cobras.
- First was Leah Corley at 8:13 left to play. Mia MacMillan sent a pass to find Leah Corley making a penetrating run from the right side of the field. Corley received the pass and then sent her shot into the near post, scoring her first goal of the game and giving MacMillan a hat-trick of assists on the day.
- Shortly after Corley's goal, Kaitlyn Mulligan put her name on the scoresheet. This attack started from a fast break after a Harper Davidson save. Kaitlyn Mulligan then took the ball down the field in a flash before finding the back of the net and scoring the last goal for the Cobras on the day.
