HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse will battle Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (Apr. 22) in its final regular season contest. Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

Coker (12-4, 5-2 SAC) went on the road on Tuesday (Apr. 18) and defeated Converse 15-7. Marabeth Durden led the scoring effort with five goals in the contest, while Haley McCusker scored four goals and Claudia Jenkins notched a hat trick. Faith Kent found the back of the net twice, while Mackenzie Baker added one goal. Kent also dished out a team-high five assists, with one helper from Durden as well. The Cobras scooped up 23 ground balls, with Kaitlyn Kimball collecting a team-high five and also causing a team-high five turnovers. Coker also won the draw control battle 19-5, with Durden recording a team-high nine. Cassie Williams (12-4) made five saves in the win.

Prior to Saturday's game, Coker will be honoring its six seniors in Baker, Durden, Kimball, Jesse Sternberg, Ordemann and Karah Huntsinger.

Baker has played in 57 games in her Coker career, starting in 56 of them. She has scored 118 goals and dished out 28 assists for a total of 146 career points. She has collected 116 ground balls, 177 draw controls and caused 51 turnovers. She was also a three-time All-Conference selection in her time at Coker. The Orlando, Fla. native is the daughter of Wayne and Debbie Baker, and is a communications major.

Durden has played and started in all 60 games in her Coker career. She has scored 63 goals and added 27 assists for a total of 90 points. She has collected 158 ground balls, 186 draw controls and caused 108 turnovers. She is also a two-time All-Conference selection. The Orlando, Fla. native is the daughter of Michael Durden, Mitzi Sheppard, Karl Sheppard, and Lisa Durden, and is an early childhood education major.

Kimball has played and started in all 61 games during her career with the Navy and Gold. She has tallied four goals and three assists for a total of seven points. She has recorded 133 ground balls, 11 draw controls and 125 caused turnovers in her career. She has also been a two-time All-Conference selection. The Winter Springs, Fla. native is the daughter of Ronald and Emily Kimball and is a physical education major.

Sternberg has played in 10 games in her two-year Coker career. She has recorded two goals and one assist for three points, as well as scooping up one ground ball and causing two turnovers. The Bridgewater, Mass. native is the daughter of Kate and Andy Mills and Eric Sternberg, and is a history major.

Ordemann has played and started in all 61 games of her career at Coker. She has scored 27 goals and tallied five assists for 32 career points. She has scooped up 184 ground balls, won 130 draw controls and caused 74 turnovers. She was also an All-Conference selection as a junior. The Toms River, N.J. native is the daughter of Charles and Susan Ordemann and is a physical therapy major.

Huntsinger has appeared in 55 games in her Coker career, making 41 starts. She has recorded 13 goals and eight assists for a total of 21 points. She has also collected 38 ground balls, won 22 draw controls and caused eight turnovers. The Fort Mill, S.C. native is the daughter of Kathy and Dan Huntsinger and is a communications major.

McCusker is leading the way offensively for the Cobras this season, with a team-high 63 goals, which is also leading the South Atlantic Conference. Kent's 43 goals are fifth in the league, while her 44 assists are tied for first. Kent leads the league with 87 points, while McCusker is tied for third with 71. Coker has also had plenty of success on draw controls this season, with Durden's 62 being the third-highest total in the conference. Baker is seventh in the league with 47. Defensively, Durden's 49 ground balls are tied for fourth in the conference, while Kimball's 46 are sixth in the category. Lindsay Ordemann is tied for ninth with 41. Kimball continues to lead the league in caused turnovers with 51, while Durden is third with 29. Ordemann is also in the top 10 in caused turnovers, being tied for eighth with 22. In goal, Williams is fifth with 121 saves, while her 46.5 save percentage is third in the league.

Lincoln Memorial comes into the matchup 6-8 overall with a 2-5 mark within the South Atlantic Conference. They are led by a pair of 30-goal scorers in Jasmin Click and Kennedy Buechner, along with four other players with at least 20 goals. Between the pipes, they will lean on Shannon Novak who owns an 11.86 goals against average and a 45.4 save percentage.

Opening draw is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker College athletic field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
