HARROGATE, TENN.- Coker women's lacrosse capped off its 2016 season with a 23-10 win over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (April 24).
Coker scored four out of the first five, Haley McCusker scoring two in a row to start the contest. Faith Kent and Lindsay Ordemann also tallied goals within the first few minutes. Coker led 11-4 at half, with Kent and Claudia Jenkins each notching hat tricks in the first half. The Cobras doubled up the Railsplitters 12-6 in the second half.
Jenkins led all scorers with six goals and one assist for seven points, while Kent and McCusker each chipped in five goals. Marabeth Durden scored twice, along with Mackenzie Baker, Bailey O'Brien, Kaitlyn Kimball, Ordemann and Huntsinger each scoring once.
Cassie Dodge (8-7) made 10 saves in the win.
The win concludes the 2016 women's lacrosse season.
