HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse will host Wingate on Saturday (Mar. 26) in a South Atlantic Conference matchup.
On the season, the Cobras (4-3, 1-2 SAC) are led by Faith Kent. The freshman is tied for fifth in the conference in goals with 25, as well as tied for fourth with 32 points on the year. Goalie Cassie Dodge is eighth in the conference with 45 saves.
The Bulldogs (6-3, 1-1 SAC) come into the matchup off a 17-15 non-conference win over Savannah College of Arts and Design. Paulena Dempsey paces the offense with 34 goals, good for tied for second in the conference, and 44 points, good for the conference lead. In the cage they lean on Arion Pierre, who owns a 9.82 Goals Against Average and has made 82 saves.
Opening draw is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
