
Cobras Welcome ThunderWolves to Town in Non-Conference Game

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's lacrosse team will play host to the ThunderWolves of CSU-Pueblo in non-conference action on Monday (Mar. 23). The matchup will take place at Byerly Park, with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.
Claudia Jenkins paces the Cobra offense with 28 points on 24 goals and four assists. Danielle Holcomb and Haley McCusker have both been vital to the Cobra attack as well, registering 18 goals and nine assists for 27 points and 17 goals and nine assists for 26 points, respectively. Mackenzie Baker has also chipped in 20+ points for the Navy and Yellow, tallying 23 points on 17 goals and six assists.
Defensively, Marabeth Durden leads the Cobras with 14 caused turnovers, while Kaitlyn Vela has registered 44 saves in 420 minutes of action.
The ThunderWolves enter the contest 1-6 overall and are led offensively by the duo of Allye Webb and Alix Zierden. Webb has notched 14 points on 11 goals and three assists, while Zierden has scored 10 goals for 10 points. Defensively, Nicole Burkhauser has tallied 58 saves in 420 minutes of action.
The game is set to begin at 3 p.m. at Byerly Park.
