
Cobras to Host Tars in Women's Lacrosse Action
The Coker College women’s lacrosse team will face off against the Rollins College Tars this Sunday.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's lacrosse team will face off against the Rollins College Tars this Sunday (Mar. 30) at Byerly Park.
The Cobras are led offensively by freshman Mackenzie Baker who comes in at fifth in the South Atlantic Conference in goals with 24 and shots with 49. Freshman Hayley Ferone's 20 goals are also good enough for ninth in the conference. Defensively, the Navy and Yellow are led by sophomore goalie Mandy Lopez, whose 86 saves are second best in the conference.
Rollins comes to Hartsville sporting a 5-2 record and the No. 8 national ranking. They are led by Tyler Thomas whose 21 goals are tops on the team and Caroline Lamere whose 26 points are second best on the squad.
