
Women's Golf Finishes Fifth In Low Tide Intercollegiate
Daniella Gyoni takes ninth, as Coker competes in first spring tournament.
MT. PLEASANT, SC. - Coker placed 5th out of 14 in their first spring tournament of the year. Daniella Gyoni led the way for the Cobras shooting ten over, while placing ninth.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
After round one, Coker found themselves in ninth place following an opening round score of 320. Daniella Gyoni was five over in the first round with Haylie George shooting six over to pace the Cobras. In round two, Coker began to close the gap. Gisele Morna shot five over, with Gyoni shooting four over, as Coker shot nine shots better than their opening round.
In round three, Coker continued to knock strokes off. They shot a week best 303 as a team, with Morna shooting even par. Gyoni and George also shot below five over, to help Coker finish in fifth place.
Haylie George, Gisele Morna, and Daniella Gyoni all shot within the top 20 individually, with Gyoni breaking the top 10. Limestone won the tournament with a team score of 18 over par.
